The scripture lesson for this Sunday, July 7, was Leviticus 19:33-34 and Luke 15:1-10. Rev. Laura Mayo gave the proclamation.
"In the kingdoms of this world, humans are expendable. Need is met with fear, threats, scapegoating, and increased abuse. But in the kingdom of God cries of paid are heard and heeded. Liberation is sought at all cost. God hears and uses us to bring liberation."
