The importance of lament, a powerful expression of sorrow. The scripture reading for this Sunday was Psalm 23. The Covenant choir sang "The Lord is My Shepherd" from Requiem. Rev. Laura Mayo gave the proclamation. The recording ends with a viola solo to J. S. Bach performed by Jacy Grannis.

Earth Day - Peace be with you!

We celebrated Earth Day this Sunday, April 23rd. The scripture reading this week was John 20:19-29.

Palm/Passion Sunday, April 9, 2017

This Sunday we walked through the last week of Jesus' life and prepared for our Good Friday/Tenebrae service, which occurs on Friday, April 14th at 7:30pm. In this episode you will hear Rev. Laura Mayo's proclamation, a duet of "Ave Verum" by Gabriel Faure, and a confession by member Jeannie Gambill.

April 2, 2017: Unbound

This Sunday's scripture reading was John 11:1-45. Two musical pieces are included. The first is the Covenant Choir singing "Set me as a Seal" by Rene Clausen and the second is a beautiful duet of J. S. Bach's "Christe Eleison." The full recording of the scripture reading occurs at the end.
